Who I am
I’m Gina - nice to meet you.
I’m an American who has also lived in Germany, the UK and Japan. I’m currently based in Tokyo.
I’m a certified TESOL/ESL language trainer and have been working in the Education industry since 2001.
I have extensive first-hand knowledge of the college admissions, application and interviewing process and a demonstrated rate of student success: every student of mine has gone on to attend their #1 or #2 choice Graduate Program!
What I do
After a consultation, I create a customized plan for each of my students. Working together, we address any weak points in their speech and/or English ability and then focus on their goal.
For TOEFL, IELTS or GMAT, this could include targeted speaking, writing, reading and listening practice with daily homework assignments.
For college or MBA applicants, this includes getting to know you personally: your history and goals, etc. In this way, we can work towards writing your best essays and presenting yourself well in interviews with Admissions Officers.
